SRSS - Server Resources Server Suite

SRSS is an open source development project brought to you by http://www.server-resource.com and Red Dragon Enterprises
The current release of SRSS is version 7.7 with support to install the following software packages:
  • Apache 1.3.29 Dynamic with mod_ssl, mod_perl, mod_php4, suexec, mod_frontpage, and 23 standard modules
  • Sendmail 8.12.10 with Auth SMTP, STARTTLS, and dnsbl
  • WU-FTPD 2.6.2
  • ProFTPD 1.2.8
  • ipop3d (redhat and mandrake only)
  • qpopper 4.0.3
  • antispam (with support for ipop3d and qpopper)
  • openssl 0.9.6l with patch to fix sendmail AUTH SMTP and STARTTLS conflict
  • openssh 3.7.1p1
  • Postfix 200102280p108
  • BIND (DNS) 8.3.4
  • BIND (DNS) 9.2.3
Latest Release Date Jan 23, 2004.
You can download SRSS in .iso or tar.gz format Here
You can burn the iso to cd or mount it using the following command, mount -t iso9660 -o loop /pathto/srss.iso /pathto/mountdir
You can unzip the tar.gz, enter the directory and run ssinstall.sh

Our Goal

The goal of www.server-resources.com and Red Dragon Enterprises is to provide information and assistance with the compilation, installation, and configuration of various server software daemons such as:
  • Apache - Webserver, with or without, mod_perl, mod_ssl, mod_php, suexec
  • BIND 8.x - DNS name server
  • PROftpd - FTP server
  • SAMBA - Netbui networking and file sharing
  • WU-ftpd - FTP server
